Call Reps to Oppose Rescinding the Roadless Rule:
-
Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins has announced that the administration will be rescinding the Roadless Area Conservation Rule to open up 59 million acres of national forestry to increased logging. Development of these long-protected public lands will invite wildfires and put habitats, biodiversity, and drinking water quality at risk.

Fund U.S. Weather Prediction and Climate Science: Call to urge support of weather and climate research.
-

-
Call Senators and Reps to oppose the The Fix Our Forests Act, H.R.471!
-
It passed in the House in January 2025, is presented as legislation to address wildfire. However, it does little to invest in proven community protection measures like defensible space, emergency planning, and home hardening. It instead focuses on opening federal lands to logging interests. It also bypasses critical environmental laws, including the Endangered Species Act, that protect our ecosystems and restricts scientific input and public engagement. The bill could have devastating consequences for the environment and endangered species. (The last action on this bill was on 3/6 - Senate Committee hearing)
